* WHAT...North winds 20 to 35 mph with gusts of 40 to 55 mph expected. Localized winds as high as 70 mph in Nikiski. Wind chill readings of zero to 15 below zero.

* WHERE...Anchorage and NW Kenai Peninsula. This includes Eagle River, Chugiak, Kenai, and Nikiski.

* WHEN...From noon Sunday to noon AKST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...North winds will gust as high as 40 mph today, strongest north to west Anchorage and in the Nikiski to Kenai corridor. Winds will strengthen further overnight tonight through Sunday morning and peak Sunday afternoon through Monday morning.

* AFFECTED AREAS: ANCHORAGE ... NW KENAI PENINSULA
