1. Resisting Arrest (1825) 4300 Block of Manchester Avenue, Lakeview
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of reckless driving. Officers located the vehicle responsible and attempted to detain the driver, who resisted arrest. Force was used to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Ronnay Coleman, 21, for resisting arrest.
2. Armed Robbery (2111) Wilson Way and Oak Street, Park District
The male victim, 26, was riding his bicycle in the area when the suspects stopped him. The suspects brandished a firearm and a machete and threatened the victim. The suspects took the victim’s bicycle and property and fled the area. SUSPECTS: Black male adult and Hispanic male adult.
3. Weapon Arrest (2253) 3000 Block of Lennon Way, Valley Oak District
Officers conducted a checkout of an occupied vehicle in the listed area for traffic violations. During a search of the vehicle, officers located a loaded firearm. ARRESTED: Kelvin Burton, 30, for parole violation and weapon charges.
