Registration is open for the second Citizen's Police Academy (CPA). The program allows residents to learn about patrol, criminal investigations, SWAT and other police department operations and also helps bridge the gap between the Fairview Police Department and those the department serves.
The 11-week program will be held from 6-9 p.m. Thursdays beginning Feb. 5. Participants must be at least 18 years old and current residents or employees of Fairview.
