Wanted Oakland City man arrested on new charge.
On December 13, 2025, at 4:01 p.m. Deputies went to a residence in the 100 block of South Second Avenue in Oakland City to serve an arrest warrant on 44-year-old Michael Bolin of Oakland City. Upon reviewing the Vanderburgh County arrest warrant it was learned that Mr. Bolin was wanted for Battery by Bodily Waste, Resisting Law Enforcement, and Disorderly Conduct after an incident at an Evansville area pharmacy. While gaining info on Mr. Bolin’s location and mental condition it was learned that Mr. Bolin had made statements to intimidate a family member.
Multiple law enforcement officers responded to the residence and took Mr. Bolin into custody without incident. After a brief investigation Deputy Wyatt Hunt transported Mr. Bolin to the Gibson County Detention Center where he was charged with Intimidation. He currently is being held on the Vanderburgh County Warrant.
Deputies Wes Baumgart and Eric Powell as well as Oakland City Police Officer Michael McGregor and multiple Princeton Police Officers assisted in the investigation.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
