• Grand Theft (Catalytic Converter):

2538 Bloomdale Street – On December 8, 2025 at 7:00 AM, the suspect(s) stole the catalytic converter from the victim’s vehicle. No surveillance video available. No arrest made. Temple DB to follow-up.

December 8, 2025

• Petty Theft (Unlocked Vehicle):

2684 Fernely Drive – On December 8, 2025 at 8:45 PM, a white male suspect stole numerous items from the victim’s unlocked vehicle. No surveillance video available. No arrest made. Temple DB to follow-up.
 

• Brandishing a Firearm:

2575 Millbrae Avenue – On December 8, 2025, at 10:35 PM, the victim stated the suspect pointed a firearm at him and demanded that he get on the ground. No surveillance video is available, but the victim got a clear view of the suspect. No arrest made. Temple DBto  follow-up.

December 9, 2025

• Petty Theft (Unlocked Vehicle):

1629 Buena Vista Street – On December 9, 2025 at 5:53 AM, the victim saw the suspect enter her unlocked vehicle and steal numerous items. The suspect ran east on Evergreen Avenue and out of view. No surveillance video available. No arrest made. Temple DB to follow-up.
 

• Burglary (Vehicle):

Buena Vista Street/Central Avenue – On December 9, 2025 at 7:24 AM, the suspect was seen breaking the window on a parked vehicle and began stealing items from inside. Deputies responded and arrested the suspect.
 

• Grand Theft:

1088 Huntington Drive (T-Mobile Store) – On December 9, 2025 at 3:56 PM, a named suspect entered the store and stole a cell phone that was on display. The suspect is wanted for other thefts from various T-Mobile stores in the area. Surveillance video available. No arrest made. Temple DB to follow-up.

• Grand Theft:

77 Las Lomas Road – On December 11, 2025 at 6 PM, unknown suspect(s) stole a generator and two gas cans from the bed of the victim’s truck. No surveillance video available. No arrest made. Temple DB follow-up.

BEFORE YOU MAKE A PAYMENT OR WITHDRAW FUNDS

• Examine the Machine: Look for loose components, color mismatches, or sticky residue on card readers; gently shake the card slot to check for overlays.
• Protect Your PIN: Always cover the keypad with your hand while entering your Personal Identification Number.
• Make Smart Choices: Opt for ATMs located inside banks or gas stations near an attendant, or pay inside the station.
• Embrace Contactless: Using tap-to-pay or mobile wallets (such as Apple/Google Pay) generates unique codes, making them more secure than swiping or inserting.

• Run Debit as Credit: If you need to use a debit card, select "credit" to avoid entering your PIN.
• Use Credit Cards: They typically provide superior fraud protection compared to debit cards.

• If You Suspect a Skimmer Report It: Promptly report any suspicious devices to the business and local authorities.
• Contact Your Bank: Inform your financial institution about any potential fraud immediately.
