Deputies Arrest Woman for Attempted Murder after She Gave the Victim Fentanyl and Other Drugs

SUSPECT(S): Kristy Oliphant, age 47, resident of Oro Grande

SUMMARY:
On Friday, December 12, 2025, at 7:42 am, deputies from the Victor Valley Station responded to a report of a poisoning at a residence in the 22200 block of National Trails Highway, in Oro Grande.
Upon arrival, deputies contacted an adult male victim who reported he had been poisoned with fentanyl in October. During the investigation, deputies learned the victim had been in a relationship with the suspect, Kristy Oliphant. Oliphant went to his residence and administered fentanyl and oxycodone without his knowledge.
Deputies also learned the victim became aware the narcotics had been administered when an argument occurred between he and Oliphant.
Oliphant was arrested and transported to the High Desert Detention Center where she is being held in lieu of $1,000,000 bail.
