Public Works Looking for Volunteers for Water Testing.
The City of Bixby Public Works Water Department is seeking residents to help with required Lead and Copper water testing. To remain in compliance with Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ) regulations, the City must submit 60 water samples by December 31, 2025.
Participating is simple. Volunteers will be asked to collect a small water sample early in the morning, after the water has remained unused in the home’s pipes for at least six hours. All instructions and materials will be provided.
We are looking for at least 20 volunteers who live within Bixby city limits. If you are eligible and willing to help, please email your name, address, and phone number to [email protected].
Once contacted, our water technician will provide a sample bottle and walk you through the next steps.
Thank you for helping the City serve you better!
