There may be a brief period early Friday morning where heavy showers and thunderstorms bring isolated damaging wind gusts. For Friday evening and night, northwest winds at 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey, and southeast New York.

* WHEN...From midnight Thursday Night to midnight EST Friday Night.
