Flood Warning until 05:30AM Friday

...The National Weather Service in Portland OR has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Oregon... Wilson River near Tillamook affecting Tillamook County. Johnson Creek at Sycamore affecting Multnomah and Clackamas Counties. Clackamas River at Estacada affecting Clackamas County. Siletz River at Siletz affecting Lincoln County. Marys River near Philomath affecting Benton County. Pudding River at Aurora affecting Marion and Clackamas Counties. Siuslaw River near Mapleton affecting Lane County. Luckiamute River near Suver affecting Benton and Polk Counties.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wilson River near Tillamook.

* WHEN...From this morning to early Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...Above 12.0 feet, minor flooding of low lying dairy and pasture land north and east of Tillamook can be expected, particularly during high tides.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM PST Wednesday the stage was 9.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.5 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage Thursday afternoon. It is forecast to crest Thursday evening at 12.7 feet. It will fall below flood stage late by Friday morning. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive through flooded areas. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.
