Shortly after 8:40 p.m. last night, Wednesday, December 17, 2025, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Communications center received reports of a gunshot victim in the area of Lands End Rd on St. Helena. When deputies arrived, they found one 42-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
Beaufort County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to the scene and transported the victim for treatment of their injuries.
The circumstances that led up to this shooting are still under investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the lead investigator, Sergeant Lidey, 843-255-3294.
