Activity for December 17, 2025:
- Officer Tenney was dispatched to the Courthouse for a warrant arrest. A 54-year-old male was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Soloman conducted a traffic stop around Van Buren Street. A 27-year-old male was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Frazier conducted a traffic stop near South Jackson Street and Randolph Street. A 41-year-old male was arrested for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Officer Richardson conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no insurance around West Franklin Street and Second Street. A 33-year-old female was arrested for conditional bond violation.
- Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of North West Avenue for a retail fraud that had just occurred. The 28-year-old male suspect was located and arrested for retail fraud and for an outstanding felony warrant. All of the stolen items were recovered.
- Officer E. Smith responded to the 200 block of Rockwell Street to assist Jackson Fire Department with a fire alarm call. Multiple dogs were located inside the home, and the home appeared to be abandoned. Animal control took over the investigation and removed the dogs from the residence.
