...BURSTS OF HEAVY SNOW, GUSTY WINDS, AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES... .A cold front moves through the region this afternoon bringing scattered to numerous snow showers and gusty winds up to 45 mph. Bursts of heavy snow are expected within the snow showers which combined with the gusty winds are expected to result in rapidly reduced visibilities. Quickly dropping temperatures behind the front may also result in slippery travel on roads that become wet from the snow. Exercise caution if traveling this afternoon and evening.
