Crime Bulletin Covering the Week of December 8-14, 2025
When I mention “the unit block” of a street, this means the incident occurred at an address anywhere between 1 and 99 of the street.
Robberies
There were two robberies during the past week.
On Tuesday, 12-09-25, at approximately 7:43 a.m., a victim was robbed near the unit block of Vendome Avenue by two unknown suspects. The victim stated that the suspects snatched her purse from her shoulder. The purse contained cash, a workers permit, and a Department of Health and Human Services card. The victim described the first suspect as a tall male wearing a beanie and a dark-colored jacket. The second suspect was described as a tall male wearing a big jacket.
On Wednesday, 12-10-25, at approximately 10:58 a.m., officers were dispatched to a robbery near the intersection of Miriam Street and Vista Grande Avenue. The victim stated that while she was walking, she noticed a brown vehicle driving behind her. When the victim looked toward the vehicle, the driver bent down in an attempt to conceal his identity. Another suspect exited the vehicle and approached the victim, instructing her to remove her jewelry and give the suspect everything. The suspect then forcefully removed the victim’s gold chain and gold earrings. The suspect handed the victim fake jewelry wrapped in a paper towel before reentering the vehicle, which then drove away. The victim described the driver as a Filipino male and the suspect who took the jewelry as a Filipino female with short hair, approximately in her 20s to 30s, wearing a light brown crop top.
Residential Burglaries
There were two residential burglaries during the past week.
On Friday, 12-12-25, between 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., a residence on the 300 block of Oriente Street was burglarized by an unknown suspect, who stole jewelry and cash. The resident discovered a rear window open and the window screen on the floor.
On Friday, 12-12-25, between 11:30 a.m. and 7:15 p.m., a residence on the unit block of Belmont Drive was burglarized by unknown suspect(s). The suspect(s) stole jewelry, watches, cash, an identification card, and a camera. The residents discovered that a kitchen window had been broken and the interior garage door was open. This investigation is ongoing.
Commercial Burglaries
There were no commercial burglaries during the past week.
Vehicle Burglaries
There were two vehicle burglaries during the past week.
- 200 block of Avalon Drive—a radar detector was taken from a 2017 Audi S5. The passenger window was broken. Occurred on 12-11-25 at approximately 5:47 a.m.
- 200 block of Avalon Drive—nothing was taken from a 2018 Lexus GX460. The rear window was broken. Occurred on 12-11-25 at approximately 5:47 a.m.
Stolen Vehicles
There were no stolen vehicles during the past week.
Miscellaneous
- There were 122 cases taken.
- There were 6 domestic disturbance cases reported.
- There were 3 cases involving an involuntary psychiatric hold.
- There were 2 malicious mischief/vandalism cases reported.
- There was 1 case for public intoxication.
- There were 2 hit-and-run collisions reported.
- There were 3 narcotics-related cases taken.

Daly City Public Library Associates Youth Poet Laureate Program
The Daly City Public Library Associates (DCPLA) is calling all poets, spoken word artists, writers, and rappers to win a chance to represent Daly City as the 2026-27 Daly City Youth Poet Laureate. Sandbags Available While Supplies Last
Sandbags are accessible 24/7 at two locations for residents with proof of residency:
- Department of Water & Wastewater Resources (parking lot) - 153 Lake Merced Blvd.
- Department of Public Works (Corporation Yard entrance) - 798 Niantic Ave.
Limit 10. Please take only what is needed as supplies are limited. When filling sandbags, fill them only halfway, so they are not too heavy to lift and will stack properly.
