Flood Warning until 11:45PM

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of northwest Oregon, including the following counties, Clatsop, Tillamook and Washington.

* WHEN...Until 1145 PM PST.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Several structures are flooded and some sand bagging operations are continuing. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 823 PM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall around 1 inch possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Cannon Beach, Garibaldi, Manzanita, Pacific City, Tillamook, Rockaway Beach, Trask, Lees Camp, Netarts, Cape Meares, Oceanside, Elsie, Cloverdale, Neskowin, Bay City, Wheeler, Nehalem, Foss, Salmonberry and Blaine. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe.
