“Our instructors and training cadre play a critical role in preparing our members to operate safely, effectively, and with confidence,” Chief Ortiz said. “Without their expertise and commitment, the department would not be able to meet the demands of modern fire service training.
“I am extremely proud of the Training Academy team and this group of individuals make us look good everyday. The professionalism, cohesion, and instructional quality demonstrated by this group represents one of the strongest Training Staff the Newark Fire Division has ever assembled. Their impact is felt across the entire organization and they continue to raise the bar in our strive toward training priorities and excellence,” Chief Ortiz added.
