Wilmington Police have arrested a Dover woman in connection to a burglary in progress.
On December 17th, at approximately 6:40 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 600 block of North Walnut Street in reference to a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers obtained a description of the two suspects and provided that description to other units in the area. A short time later, officers observed a female matching the description of one of the suspects in the area of East 9th Street and Guyer Avenue. Police made contact with 32-year-old Ivory Duckery and took her into custody without incident.
Duckery was charged with the following offenses:
- Attempted Burglary (Third Degree)
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Criminal Mischief Under $1,000
She was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released pending further proceedings.
