1. Attempted Robbery (1635) 7600 Block of North El Dorado Street, Lakeview District
The male victim, 60, went to the area to meet the suspect. While there, a second suspect approached, produced a firearm and fired a round into the air. The suspect demanded the victim’s property, searched, and then struck him before fleeing. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury but declined medical attention. There was no loss. SUSPECTS: a Black male adult and a White or Hispanic male adult.
2. Weapons Arrest (0045) 900 Block of West Charter Way, Seaport District
Officers conducted a check out of a subject near a vehicle at the listed location. When officers attempted to detain him, he fled on foot. Officers used force to take the suspect into custody. Officers located a loaded firearm under the seat of the suspect’s vehicle. ARRESTED: Angelino Mack, 21, for weapons and resisting arrest charges.
