On behalf of Mayor Michael Johnson and the Haledon Municipal Council, the Haledon Police Department advises residents of temporary traffic delays and rolling road closures throughout the Borough this evening due to Santa’s Holiday Lights Parade, beginning at 6:30 PM.
The parade cannot travel on hills, dead-end streets, narrow roads, or cul-de-sacs.
Residents on those streets may walk to the nearest accessible roadway.
The Belmont Town Square (Tilt Street and Belmont Avenue) is a great location to view the parade.
Santa’s Elves will be along the route with surprises.
Residents are encouraged to follow the Borough of Haledon Special Events social media pages for updates and parade tracking (Santa Tracker) information.

On behalf of Mayor Michael Johnson and the Haledon Municipal Council, the Haledon Police Department advises residents of temporary traffic delays and rolling road closures throughout the Borough this evening due to Santa’s Holiday Lights Parade, beginning at 6:30 PM.
Santa and his holiday escort will be traveling through town in emergency vehicles using lights and sirens. When you hear the sirens, come outside and enjoy the parade.
Please Note:
The parade cannot travel on hills, dead-end streets, narrow roads, or cul-de-sacs.
Residents on those streets may walk to the nearest accessible roadway.
The Belmont Town Square (Tilt Street and Belmont Avenue) is a great location to view the parade.

Motorists should expect brief delays and are asked to follow all directions from Haledon police officers.
