1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0540) Shelly Court and Jamestown Street, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 59, was in an argument with the suspect when the suspect hit him with an object and broke his car window. The victim complained of pain but refused medical. SUSPECT: Black female in her thirties.
2. Arson/Robbery/Resisting Arrest (0819) 00 Block of East Jamestown Street, Valley Oak District
The female victim, 22, and the suspect were in an argument when the suspect assaulted the victim and took her property. As the victim fled to call for help, the suspect set fire to her apartment. Responding officers located the suspect, but he refused to obey the officers’ commands to surrender and tried to flee. Force was used to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Tejon Davis, 25, for spousal abuse, robbery, arson, resisting arrest, possessing a controlled substance, and outstanding warrants.
3. Weapon Arrest (1128) 1600 Block of Blackoak Drive, Lakeview District
Officers conducted a proactive check out of a suspicious vehicle in the listed area and contacted the occupants. Officers searched the vehicle and found a loaded firearm and narcotics. The occupants were taken into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Jesse West, 45, and Josefina Tamayo, 22, for weapon and narcotics charges.
