* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Areas around Cape Mendocino and the King Range...
* Until 915 AM PST.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. There will be an increased risk of rock and land slides along roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 610 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Honeydew, Shelter Cove, Petrolia, Redway, Bull Creek, Ettersburg, Briceland and Capetown. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
