* Flash Flood Warning for... Southern Humboldt County in northwestern California... Southwestern Trinity County in northwestern California...

* Until 645 PM PST Sunday.

* At 1051 AM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain falling across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park, Garberville, Richardson Grove State Park, Fortuna, Rio Dell, Bridgeville, Dinsmore, Myers Flat, Weott, Pepperwood, Alderpoint, Redway, Carlotta, Ruth, Richardson Grove, Scotia, Ferndale, Blocksburg, Miranda and Fort Seward.
