* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. There will be an increased risk of rock and land slides along roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 644 PM PST, gauge reports indicated heavy rain. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 4 and 8 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.1 inches are possible in the warned area. The rain has diminished and stream and creeks have generally crested, but remain high. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
