...LIGHT WINTRY MIX WILL RESULT IN SLICK TRAVEL CONDITIONS FOR THE MONDAY MORNING COMMUTE... .A band of light freezing rain mixed with sleet and snow has resulted in slick roadways across south-central Minnesota early this morning. These conditions will spread into the southern Twin Cities Metro before sunrise. The wintry mix should only last for a few hours at any given location before subsiding, but any untreated surface will be left with a light glaze of ice.
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations around a light glaze.
* WHERE...Dunn, Eau Claire, Pepin, Pierce, and St. Croix Counties.
* WHEN...Until 8 AM CST this morning.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute.
