Student Community Helpers Honored at Heroes and Helpers 2025
South Brunswick Police Department's 10th annual Heroes and Helpers event was held Wednesday, December 17th, at Target on Route 1 in South Brunswick. The event recognized some truly exceptional kids with a special day to honor their accomplishments. These 12 recipients were each nominated by their individual school for their outstanding work and character.
During the event, we honored outstanding students from across the township who consistently lead by example through everyday acts of kindness, leadership, and compassion. These students were selected from more than 10,000 students!
For the day, we proudly recognized these students as our Heroes, and the South Brunswick Police Department was honored to be their Helpers. Each honoree received a certificate, a gift from the department, a Target gift card, and the opportunity to shop alongside a South Brunswick police officer.
This event was made possible through the generous support of Target and both South Brunswick Police Unions. We also extend our sincere thanks to the South Brunswick School District, Saint Augustine School, Noor Ul-Iman School, and the families who helped make this event a success.
