West Springfield, MA — The Town of West Springfield will transition from its current Nixle/Everbridge alert system to a new resident notification platform known as Regroup Mass Notification.
The updated platform will improve the Town’s ability to communicate quickly and accurately during emergencies, weather events, outages, and neighborhood-specific updates. Regroup allows messages to be delivered across multiple channels — text, email, phone, mobile app, and social media — including the capability to send severe weather alerts and targeted, location-specific messaging.
“Keeping residents informed and safe is one of our most important responsibilities,” said Mayor Reichelt. “Regroup gives us more accurate tools, more flexibility, and better outreach to neighborhoods so alerts reach the right households at the right time.”
The Town is asking all residents, especially those currently enrolled in the Nixle/Everbridge system, to self-register in Regroup to ensure accuracy in future messaging. Enrollment can be completed at tinyurl.com/WestSideRegroup. Residents are encouraged to enroll as soon as possible to make this a seamless transition for our communication efforts.

As an enrollment incentive, all residents who join Regroup will be entered into a raffle to win one of ten West Springfield Monopoly board games.
If residents do not self-enroll, the Town will begin outreach by phone to update existing contact records manually.
