Atlantic Avenue Complete Streets Project Update
The City of Cudahy is moving into the final phase of the Atlantic Avenue Complete Streets Improvement Project. Remaining work includes cat tracking for striping layout, adjusting utilities to proper grade, and installing permanent thermoplastic striping. This final set of improvements is scheduled to begin Monday, December 22, 2025, and continue through Friday, January 2, 2026, on Atlantic Avenue from Patata Street to Florence Avenue. Work will take place Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., with thermoplastic striping completed during evening hours from December 31, 2025, through January 2, 2026. Please note that these dates are based on the most current information available. Weather, material availability, and other external factors may require schedule adjustments. For your safety, please follow all posted construction signs and temporary traffic controls throughout the work zone. The City and the contractor will continue working to minimize impacts to residents and businesses.
