12/23/25 1:00 PM: The following wind and flood watch warnings issued by NWS  are still in effect due to the incoming winter storm starting this afternoon. Please see the links below for more information.

• High Wind Watch in effect from December 23, 04:00 PM PST until December 24, 04:00 AM 

Damaging winds up to 60 mph gusts could down trees, snap power lines, and result in property damage. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be extremely difficult and hazardous, especially for high-profile vehicles.
Be alert for possible Flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

Secure loose outdoor objects that could be blown around or damaged by the wind

Reminder: the Town of Los Altos Hills has a first come, self-serve sand bag station that is open near the Purissima Park Corp Yard . The Public Works Department has re-filled the sand in preparation for the upcoming storm.
