The Santa Barbara Police Department has been monitoring potential flood areas related to the ongoing rain event. Sustained rain for several hours has led to two roadway closures. The First block of South, Calle Cesar Chavez, and the 100 block of Anacapa St. were closed around 2:00AM due to flooding.
The Santa Barbara Police Department is continuing to monitor the storm and will advise of any additional closures. Please use extreme caution while driving. Reduce your speed and avoid pooling water.
