A Winter Storm Watch is in effect from Friday afternoon through Saturday morning with total snow accumulations between 5 and 8 inches possible.
Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute.
In anticipation of the storm, residents must remove vehicles parked on the street by Friday afternoon to ensure effective plowing operations from our Department of Public Works crews.
Under the Township ordinance, vehicles must be removed from roadways from the first hour of commencement of snow to 12 hours after the snow has stopped for snowfall over 4 inches or more. Please pass this information on to your neighbors.
Available parking locations when four or more inches of snow is predicted are:

•Babbage Park-Glenridge Avenue
•Public Library-Hermann Road
•Veterans Park-Roosevelt Avenue
•Community Park-Rt. 130
•Sabella Park-Cozzens Lane
•JFK Park-Schmidt Lane

Persons should delay all travel if possible. If travel is absolutely necessary, drive with extreme caution and be prepared for sudden changes in visibility. Leave plenty of room between you and the motorist ahead of you, and allow extra time to reach your destination. Avoid sudden braking or acceleration. Make sure your car is winterized and in good working order.
