REUNIFICATION UPDATE

The Lancaster Sheriff’s Station is currently responding to multiple vehicles trapped in flooded roadways due to severe storm conditions.

Do not drive on flooded roads. Do not ignore road closure signs or barricades. Avoid travel in Lake Los Angeles and East Lancaster. SEE BELOW FOR REUNIFICATION INFORMATION.

  • There are dozens of active road closures, and multiple rescues are currently in progress, placing members of the public and first responders at risk. If a road is closed, do not attempt to drive around barriers or through standing or moving water. Even shallow water can sweep vehicles away. LA County Sheriff's Department field personnel, AV Search and Rescue, and partner agencies are actively deployed. If you do not need to be on the road, please stay home until conditions improve.
