A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from this afternoon through Saturday morning with total snow accumulations between 4 and 8 inches possible.
Residents must remove vehicles parked on the street to ensure effective plowing operations from our Department of Public Works crews.
Under the Township ordinance, vehicles must be removed from roadways from the first hour of commencement of snow to 12 hours after the snow has stopped for snowfall over 4 inches or more. Please pass this information on to your neighbors.
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute. Snow may arrive as early as 5 p.m. with the most moderate to heavy rates between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. Sleet will also mix in during the storm which would lessen snowfall amounts but still make travel difficult.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
