Reminder, Snow Parking is in effect when there is 3" or more of snow on the ground. Please remove vehicles from the roadway for the plows to properly clear the roadway.
201-29: It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to park any motor vehicle or other vehicle on any public street in the Town of Boonton between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., prevailing time, which during such period there shall be a covering of streets of at least 3 inches of snow as measured by the Shift Commander of the Boonton Police Department on the walkway in front of the flagpole at Town Hall on the Washington Street side. This parking prohibition shall remain in force during the eight-hour period following the cessation of such precipitation, except as defined below:
A.
This section shall not apply to duly licensed physicians or visiting nurses of the Town of Boonton making professional calls.
B.
This section shall not apply to any of the following roads, streets, and highways under the jurisdiction of the county, state, or federal government: Main Street, West Main Street, Myrtle Avenue, Washington Street, Boonton Avenue.
