As a result of the forecasted snowfall of 8-12", an alternate side parking ban will take effect in the Town of Fairfield beginning 12-26-2025 06:00 PM.
For the purpose of facilitating the plowing and removal of snow and ice, and to prevent the obstruction of traffic due to snow or ice accumulation, alternate side of the street parking shall take effect beginning 12-26-2025 06:00 PM.
Parking on any public street in the Town of Fairfield, will only be allowed on the even-numbered side of the street. This is effective beginning 12-26-2025 06:00 PM and will last for 36 hours, or sooner if the ban is lifted.
Any vehicle found standing or parked in violation of this order may be issued a parking ticket and/or removed by towing at the discretion of the Fairfield Police Department. Towing would be at the owner's expense.
Please make an effort to stay off the roads and avoid travel to assist DPW in clearing the roads.
