Winter Weather Warning - Snow, sleet, freezing rain this evening. Limit travel. No garbage or recycling pickup Saturday.
South Brunswick Recycling and Trash Update
All trash and recycling collections scheduled for Saturday have been moved to Monday. Any pending Friday material will be collected Monday morning. Please be sure to move all receptacles and bags from the curb until Monday as to not interfere with snow plows. Residents with regular Monday collections should put their material out as normal.
WEATHER FORECAST
No matter what, this is a plowable event and accumulations will become very dense as sleet mixes in. Toward and especially after midnight, precipitation lightens and becomes some freezing rain, making things icy. Temps will be right around 32 for most of the predawn, but some SE can creep up and be more of a plain drizzle.
In any case, this icy mix/drizzle lingers into Saturday morning before exiting. With not much drying and staying damp, we will have refreeze concerns as temperatures fall late Saturday and especially in the evening.
