Effective today, December 27, 2025 at 8:00 am, The Red Flag Parking Restriction and Evacuation Warning has been lifted. The National Weather Service is forecasting another winter storm Wednesday, December 31, 2025 leading into the New Year. Please take this time to take all necessary precautions in advance to the next storm. As a general reminder, here are some helpful emergency preparedness tips:

  • Sign up for emergency alerts through Nixle and Genasys Emergency Communications
  • Review evacuation routes and have a plan ready for your family and pets.
  • Assemble an emergency kit with food, water, medications, flashlight, batteries, and key documents.
  • Clear drains, gutters, and storm grates to help prevent localized flooding.
  • Check your vehicle’s condition and keep the gas tank at least half-full.
  • Use sandbags or barriers if your property is vulnerable to flooding or debris flows.
