Sheriff Clint Roach reports that on 12/27/2025 at approximately 10:56 A.m, his deputies responded to a single vehicle crash on Twin Lakes Rd and Dutch Settlement St., Wayne Township, Cass County Michigan.
The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by Mary Cloud (61 years old from Buchanan, MI) was northbound on Twin Lakes Rd near Dutch Settlement St when she lost control of her vehicle, left the roadway, and crashed into a tree. Mary Cloud was transported by SMCAS Ambulance to Niles Hospital for injuries sustained in the traffic crash.
Assisting agencies on scene were SMCAS Ambulance, Cass Fire Department, and Wayne Township Fire Department.
The crash remains under investigation.
