...Wintry Weather Causing Travel Issues This Morning...
The combination of very strong gusty west winds and light snow has
been causing travel issues to increase this morning across much
of northern Indiana, extreme northwest Ohio and far southern Lower
Michigan. It is estimated using webcams that snow has already
accumulated 1 to 2 inches north of Highway 30. In addition to the
falling and blowing snow, snow has begun to drift across roads
making travel more difficult. No improvement is expected this
morning; rather, travel is expected to become worse throughout the
day as additional snow continues to drift. Delay your travel
until later this week if possible. If you must travel, be sure to
pack a winter travel kit that includes blankets, a cell phone and
extra food.
