Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man in connection with a stabbing that occurred Saturday in Bluffton.
Shortly after 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2025, deputies responded to the parking lot of Target in Bluffton for a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, deputies located a 17-year-old male suffering from stab wounds. Deputies were given limited information but was advised that the suspect was no longer on scene.
The investigation revealed that the victim was involved in a fight with another juvenile male in the parking lot of Target. During the altercation between the two juveniles another person retrieved a sharp object and stabbed the victim. The subjects then fled the scene.
Beaufort County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded, and the victim was transported for medical treatment for his injuries.
Investigators were able to identify 19-year-old Ramiro Arcos-Romero of Ridgeland as the subject that stabbed the victim. Yesterday, December 28, 2025, he was arrested by Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) and transported to their detention center.
The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) has charged Arcos-Romero with Attempted Murder and Possession of a Weapon During Commission of a Violent Crime.
