1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest (1130) 2700 Block of Fresno Avenue, Seaport District
The female victim, 53, was in her room when the suspect came in and assaulted her with a knife. Her roommate intervened and was also hit by the suspect. Both victims were able to flee, and the suspect locked herself in her room. Responding officers were able to convince the suspect to surrender and took her into
custody without incident. Both victims sustained minor injuries. ARRESTED: Danielle Rooks, 44, for assault with a deadly weapon.
2. Weapons Arrest (1400) 1100 Block of Brick and Tile Circle, Seaport District
Officers conducted an enforcement stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the contact, officers learned the driver was on searchable probation. Officers went to the driver’s home to conduct a compliance search and located two firearms and ammunition, which the driver was prohibited from possessing. ARRESTED: Emari Smith, 19, for weapon violations.
