Weapon Violations and Illegal Narcotic Violations Press Release 
On Monday December 29th, 2025 the Corcoran PD Violent Crime Suppression Unit was in the area of the 1700 block of Dairy Ave. when a report of shots fired was called in to dispatch. CPD officers located the suspect vehicle in the area of the reported shots fired and conducted a traffic stop within minutes of the call. The driver, Jose Rios (34 yoa) was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Officers searched the vehicle and located three firearms, over 200 rounds of ammunition, 63 grams of Cocaine, packaging material, and scale. Jose Rios was booked in the Kings County Jail for several Weapon Violations and Illegal Narcotic Violations.
