On Friday, January 2, 2026, and Saturday, January 3, 2026, deputies from the Victor Valley Station will conduct a targeted traffic enforcement operation in the Phelan area.
The operation is focused on improving roadway safety and addressing ongoing community concerns related to traffic violations. Deputies will specifically monitor issues such as speeding, passing on the right, and reckless driving along Phelan Road. Additional enforcement efforts will address complaints involving off-highway vehicles, (OHV), being operated recklessly within town limits and at local gas stations.
“The goal of this operation is to enforce traffic laws in the Phelan area and improve safety for residents and motorists,” said Sgt. S. Nobles. “We have received numerous complaints about dangerous driving behaviors, and this enforcement effort is intended to reduce those risks.”
Residents are reminded to obey all traffic laws, drive attentively, and share the road responsibly. The Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station encourages community members to report unsafe driving behaviors to help keep local roads safe.
