Accumulating snow is forecast to begin this afternoon that could make road conditions hazardous this evening.  Your Burr Ridge Police and Public Works Departments advise you to consider the following for your New Years Eve celebrations:
 

• Please refrain from parking vehicles on the streets until after 8PM tonight as a courtesy to our Public Works team, who will be more effective in clearing away snow and ice without such obstructions.  Trucks and salt treatments will continue until the winter weather subsides, which we anticipate to be around 8PM.

• Celebrate safely and responsibly this New Years Eve.  Burr Ridge Police urge you to have a sober driver or use a ride-share service if you plan on going out, and to encourage those around you to do the same as we welcome in the new year.
