NOTICE OF ENFORCEMENT OF OFF-STREET PARKING REGULATIONS BEGINNING JANUARY 5, 2026
 
In July of 2025, the City of Saluda Board of Commissioners amended its ordinance to address on and off-street parking on city streets and roadways. The City determined the amendment was necessary to address safety issues created by vehicles parking on City rights-of-way or on the pavement of City streets in areas that are not designated parking areas.     
 
For the public to have ample opportunity to learn about the new regulations and to make alternative parking arrangements, the City initiated a grace period from July 14th, 2025, to January 1st, 2026, to begin enforcement of the new off-street parking regulations.  The grace period is set to expire on January 1, 2026.  This is to advise you that beginning January 5th, 2026, the Saluda Police Department will begin the enforcement of the new regulation for on and off-street parking.
