1. Battery on an Officer (1627) 6800 Block of Butler Court, Lakeview District
Officers responded to a report of the suspect vandalizing a residence in the listed area. Upon contact, the suspect fled from officers. Officers caught the suspect, and while taking her into custody, the suspect kicked an officer. Once seated in a patrol vehicle, the suspect kicked the windows and spat at officers; she was restrained for her safety. The officer was uninjured. ARRESTED: Rene Seica, 28, for battery on an officer, resisting arrest, and vandalism.
2. Elder Abuse/Resisting Arrest (2106) 1000 Block of West Poplar Street, Civic District
The male victim, 78, was inside his residence when the known suspect began throwing objects at him. Officers detained the suspect, who began attempting to harm himself and had to be restrained. The suspect received treatment for a pre-existing medical condition at an area hospital. ARRESTED: Larry Arnold, 48, for elder abuse and resisting arrest.
3. Person Shot (0151) 5500 Block of Tree Swallow Court, Lakeview District
The female victim, 45, was inside her residence when the known suspect shot her. Officers arrived and arrested the suspect without incident. The victim was transported to an area hospital and treated for a non-life-threatening injury. ARRESTED: Antonio Salazar, 54, for attempted homicide.
