Arrest at 1105 Tyler St. 
On 01-03-26 at 1:00 p.m., the Janesville Police Department received information that Jerome Rufus-Hanewold was at 1105 Tyler St. Jerome had a warrant through probation and several new charges through the Beloit Police Department that he needed to be arrested for. The surrounding roads were blocked and officers set a perimeter around the house. Jerome refused to exit the residence, so officers eventually entered. After speaking with Jerome for approximately 20 minutes he surrendered and was safely taken into custody without injury to Jerome or officers.
Jerome was transported and held at the Rock County Jail on his warrant. Beloit PD will be conducting follow up regarding their charges.
