1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1545) 100 Block of West Churchill Street, Civic District
The female victim, 51, was in the listed area sitting in her car when the known suspect got into his car and rammed her vehicle. Officers responded, located the suspect in the area, driving away, and conducted a traffic stop. The suspect resisted,
and officers used force to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Anthony Romprey, 42, for assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1631) 4900 Block of Colebrook Way, Valley Oak District
The female victims, 37, 27, and two juveniles, were in the listed area at a family gathering when the suspect became combative and assaulted the victims with a knife. Officers responded and took the suspect into custody without incident. The victims were treated on scene by medics for minor injuries. ARRESTED: Israel Acosta, 27, for assault with a deadly weapon, battery, and child abuse.
3. Robbery (1930) 1000 Block of East March Lane, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 26, was in the listed area when he was involved in an altercation with the suspect, who was helping him move his belongings. The suspects assaulted the victim and fled with his property. The victim sustained minor injuries and declined medical attention. SUSPECTS: A Hispanic male, an Asian male, and a Hispanic female.
4. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2238) 100 Block of East Lincoln Road, Lakeview District
The male victim, 36, was sitting inside his vehicle near the listed call location when he was approached by the suspect. The suspect struck the victim with a pole. The victim self-transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
5. Resisting Arrest (0408) Center Street and Park Street, Civic District
Officers responded to a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers attempted to detain the suspect, but he fled on foot. Officers caught up to the suspect and used force to take him into custody. The suspect was medically cleared before being booked. ARRESTED: Perry Newman, 31, for public intoxication and resisting
arrest charges.
