Register for our New Alert System + Enter to Win a WS Monopoly Game!

Why the change?
Regroup is a powerful, easy-to-use mass notification platform designed specifically for government agencies to communicate quickly, clearly, and effectively during both emergency situations and daily operations. It allows us to send alerts through text, phone call, email, mobile app, social media, and other channels—whichever option residents prefer.
The platform also enables geotargeted messaging, meaning we can send notifications to residents in a specific neighborhood or section of town when an event or public safety matter affects only that area. This improves accuracy and reduces unnecessary alerts.
In addition, Regroup supports:
- Emergency alerts, evacuations, and severe weather notices
- Daily notices such as road closures, community events, department updates, and public meeting reminders
- Two-way community engagement
- Multi-language delivery to ensure every resident can understand key information
How you currently use alerts won’t change — we’ll simply be able to serve you better.
Enrollment Incentive — Win a WS Monopoly Game!
To encourage sign-ups in our new system, the Town will be raffling off 10 West Springfield Monopoly board games.
Anyone who enrolls in Regroup will be automatically entered into the drawing.
What residents need to do:
We are asking all residents—especially those already enrolled in Nixle/Everbridge—to please self-register in the new Regroup system so that we have updated, accurate contact information and can target messaging by geography when needed.
✔ Register online:

✔ Prefer phone assistance?
Call Carly in the Mayor’s Office at 413-495-1844 and leave a message with your name, phone number, and email. She will assist you in getting enrolled.
If a resident does not self-enroll, please note that we will begin outreach by phone to individuals on our current Nixle list to update contact information manually.
What we use alerts for:
- Residents will continue to receive:
- Emergency alerts and weather notifications
- Public safety updates
- Road closures and DPW notices
- Storm announcements and parking bans
- Special events and community reminders
- Press releases and municipal news
- Volunteer and civic engagement notifications
Regroup is already widely used by municipalities, police and fire departments, utilities, and emergency management teams because it is reliable, user-friendly, and built for public communication.
Thank you in advance for taking a moment to register. This upgrade allows us to keep West Springfield informed, safe, and connected—with modern tools that match our community’s needs.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Mayor’s Office.
Sincerely,
Town of West Springfield
