Morgan Hill Police Investigate Fatal Traffic Collision
Morgan Hill, California – Yesterday, January 07, 2026, at approximately 6:08 a.m., Morgan Hill Police Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Condit Road and Diana Avenue following reports of a two-vehicle collision.
Upon arrival, officers located multiple individuals with varying degrees of injuries. Three occupants were transported to local trauma centers for medical treatment. Despite the life-saving measures performed by officers and emergency medical personnel, a fourth occupant succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Preliminary findings suggest that alcohol or drug impairment was not a factor in this incident. The collision remains under active investigation by the Morgan Hill Police Department.
The Department extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of the decedent. We remind all motorists to remain vigilant, wear seatbelts, and exercise heightened caution at intersections, particularly during low-light, early morning hours.
