In response to a statewide rise in serious motor vehicle crashes, the South Brunswick Police Department has begun a series of enforcement details designed to keep our highways safe. We will be focusing on intersections, distracted driving, and speed, but will also be enforcing other violations observed.
To be sure that other roadways in our township also receive attention, we will also be continuing our traffic enforcement details as scheduled.
Traffic Enforcement Details from January 10th to January 23rd:
In an effort to address recurring traffic safety concerns within the Township, the South Brunswick Police Department will be conducting the following directed traffic enforcement details over the next two weeks:
West Side:
January 10th to January 16th: Promenade Blvd: Speeding and Distracted Driving
January 17th to January 23rd: Sand Hills Road: Speeding, Distracted Driving, and Weight Limit Ordinance Violations
East Side:
January 10th to January 16th: Davidsons Mill Road: Speeding, Distracted Driving, and Weight Limit Ordinance Violations
January 17th to January 23rd: Fresh Ponds Road: Speeding, Distracted Driving, and Weight Limit Ordinance Violations
