Avoid traveling the Dyea Road and Skagway roads unless it is an emergency.

Please refrain from driving the Dyea Road unless it is an absolute emergency. Several slides have been reported and are covering the roadway, making it very difficult to traverse. All roads in Skagway are also experiencing heavy snow cover and should be avoided as well.
